Before I Give You a Weekly Dose

I know, I know you are expecting Kimmy & David & Marco and I’m trying, truly.

I am jumping out of my seat since it was just tweeted that BlogHer2012 is coming to NYC,
the blogging gods have smiled on me and I am so excited I can’t stand it!
BlogHer.
In NYC !!!!
You’d think I’d won the lottery, for sure.

So I’ve been distracted today.
Guest posts to write for my friends at BlogHer 2011 living it up.
Dealing with the Strep Throat monster that has overtaken my house
And work, silly, annoying, doesn’t let me get anything done work. Sheesh.

So this is what I’m gong to give you while I write, edit and get ready to hit publish:

I have wanted to share this video with all of you for a while.

When the babies were small and I would dress them, I would sing this song to them.

I love your Toes (che che)

I love your Chunky little Thighs (che che)

I love you Gio, I love you Gio,
I love you G. I. O My Gio.

and then of course I would repeat for Jacob.

I made it up one morning when I still on Maternity leave and sang it to each of them, imagining a day that it would repeated back to me.

This is Gio singing to his brother, and while Jacob didn’t let us get him on tape, I assure you they both know the words, they both know how to spell each other’s names and to my utter amazement they both love singing it.

This little song I just made up to make getting dressed easier.

I would be lying if I said that I don’t tear up every time they break it out, I do.

Then I say a small Thank you to God, the Universe, the Dr’s and the Prayers that made them a Dream Come True.
