Men are fighting over me. Two men actually, but they are indeed fighting over me; trying to one up the other, sending me flowers and taking me to fancy restaurants.
Some days it’s exhilarating to be the focus of so much attention and other days it’s just plain exhausting.
Do you remember when you were vying for my affection? How about, the night that your best friend had too many shots of tequila and told me that if things didn’t work out with you, he would happily take me off your hands?Or maybe you are recalling the summer of my internship with that law firm, when I was so sure I wanted to be a lawyer? That first year associate who I told you was just a friend, but spent the summer; wooing and kissing me, you knew all along didn’t you? That he was more than I ever let on?
