My favorite number is 3.
There is something about that number that makes me smile. With all the talk about Fate this week, (Write on Edge’s prompt, my day with Gigi over at Kludgy Mom and of course the underlying theme of my fiction series Gathering Buttercups) I think the Universe is trying to tell me something.
Today is my day of 3′s.
Earlier this week, which means it was a MOST WELCOME surprise, I found out that Today would be
MY SITS DAY!!!
I know!!!! I screamed out loud too.
The girls of SITS, Francesca and Tiffany (who I got to HUG at Bloggy Boot Camp in Philadelphia last month) are just amazing women, who have created a COMMUNITY (love that) of 40,000 women who support, encourage and celebrate one another.
Since I have been blogging for a VERY LONG TIME, I was sure that the SITS SAILBOAT had umm, sailed without me. I was thrilled to get the email that I would have a day of my own. It seems my year of AMAZING continues.
It’s a DREAM COME TRUE to be Featured there today.

Earlier this year, my friend, Mentor and THE AMAZING WRITER Cameron Garriepy started a STORY CIRCLE.
Again, I was sure I’d never be chosen to write for it. I mean I read these other writer’s words and was blown away. Their talent and touch with the English language was fantastic. I was happy to just read them, tweet them. Really.
But Shelton Keys Dunning surprised me last week, (I squealed…again) and asked me to pick up her story where she left off. It’s about a High School Reunion and a girl who um, doesn’t really want to be there. I got very girly in my piece, but I’m hoping that you’ll come over to Cam’s and read it anyway. I mean who hasn’t thought of making a major transformation for their High School Reunion and I added a bitch, a football star and a long kept secret.
And then last but not LEAST, I have a Proud Mommy today whom I ADORE.
Ryan from The Woven Moments is going to be here shortly to tell us all about her INCREDIBLE daughter. Believe me when I tell you that you don’t want to miss this post, but bring your Tissues, because I can’t even type about it here and not tear up. Plus Ryan is a fantastic human being, I am so excited it’s her day to let me CELEBRATE her.
I apologize for dragging all of you all around today, but please know that it means THE WORLD to me that you’re willing to spend the day GALIVANTING (don’t you love that word??) around the blog world with me.
